Sewer
Willard City Maintenance Personnel are asking residents to check their sewer cleanout stubs. Make sure they are not broken and are capped off. If they are in an area where there is vehicle traffic make sure there is a concrete collar around them. This is to prevent dirt and debris from going inside and creating the potential of blockages and sewer back-up. Also be sure clean out caps are ground level to prevent lawn mowers and tractors from hitting them.

Water
How much water do you use???? Are you wasting water???? The average water usage for this time of year is between 5,000 and 12,000 gallons per month. The usage can vary depending on family size. If you notice usage more than the average or an increase in usage there could be a leak. We have had a few leaks detected the past couple of months by reviewing the water usage. The issues have been broken pipes, running toilets, and hot water heater problems.
Water bills are sent out the 5 th of each month and are due by the 20th of each month. For your convenience a payment drop box is located on the west side of City Hall, outside for making payments after City Office hours. City Office hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday. Water meters are now being read monthly. Please help make sure your meter is accessible for the maintenance personnel and avoid the $25.00 covered meter charge please remove weeds, cars, and gravel from you meter.
