LIMBS

Announces August Tour

With Emery

Debut Full-Length Album

Father's Son Out Now via UNFD

Available for Purchase Here

Previously featured on Revolver, Metal Injection,

Tampa, FL - July 11, 2018 - Post-hardcore quintet LIMBS has announced that they will be joining Emery for a series of tour dates this August. The band will hit the road on August 16th in Austin, with additional stops in San Antonio, Houston, Fort Worth, Little Rock, and Atlanta, revisiting several favorites from their tour with Underoath, Dance Gavin Dance, and Veil of Maya earlier this year. For a full list of upcoming shows, please see below, or visit: www.whoislimbs.com.

LIMBS recently released their debut full-length album Father's Son. The record, out now via UNFD, gives listeners a dark and brooding look at a young man's journey out of religion as he comes to terms with both his upbringing and his own actions. Fans can stream it now on Spotify and Apple Music, or purchase it online at: unfd.lnk.to/FathersSon.

LIMBS previously released singles "Tangled Hands" and "Father's Son." With adds to top Spotify playlists like Metalcore and New Metal Tracks, as well as Apple Music playlists like Breaking Metal, these singles have seen great successes on streaming services.

Earlier this year the band found a home with UNFD, ahead of the April release of their debut album Father's Son. A conceptual album following a young man breaking free from his indoctrinated upbringing, the album explores the harm it causes and the strength in reclaiming your own life.

"It's loosely based off of some of my own personal experiences and feelings," explains frontman Chris Costanza. "It begins with the young man feeling distraught and angry after coming to some realizations about his upbringing and the harm it has done to both himself and others. It slowly turns inward as he reflects on himself and takes personal responsibility for his actions and deals with the aftermath of making such a drastic change in his life."

A brooding and cathartic album Costanza describes as "Norma Jean meets Radiohead," Father's Son came together with help from Tim McTague in the pre-production stages before moving on to record with Beau Burchell - the same team behind the band's SLEEP EP.

LIMBS - rounded out by Daniel Nelson (drums), Joshua Kowalski (bass), Jordan Hunter (guitar), and Tyler Martin (guitar) - has spent the last few months criss-crossing the highways of America showcasing Father's Son with the likes of Underoath, Veil of Maya. As they prepare for another run of shows on the Vans Warped Tour and with Emery, Costanza reflects on the life lessons expressed within the album.

"The biggest lesson I've learned is that love comes in many forms. Some people come at love from a religious standpoint, others from a spiritual standpoint, some from a more pragmatic place. But the most important thing I've realized is that (at least to me) it shouldn't matter where that love comes from. Seeing love in so many forms and from so many different viewpoints has been extremely eye opening for me and helped me broaden my view of love and how it's given/received. I think that's something I'll never stop learning."

FIT FOR A KING

PREMIERE NEW VIDEO FOR

"THE PRICE OF AGONY"

WITH REVOLVER

New Album

Dark Skies Out On

September 14th with Solid State Records

Summer Headline Tour Starts July 18th

Dallas, TX - July 11, 2018 - Dallas metalcore band Fit For A King has teamed up with Revolver for the premiere of their music video for "The Price Of Agony". Watch the video, which tackles the band's political views HERE. The track is the second single off of the band's forthcoming full-length album Dark Skies, which is set for release on September 14th via Solid State Records.

"The song is about the political divide not just in America, but around the world," states vocalist Ryan Kirby about the track. "And how this divide has caused us to not just disagree with others, but to despise people with differing views, even though outside of politics, we all have more in common than we allow ourselves to believe."

A couple weeks back, FFAK released the first single "Tower of Pain", off of the upcoming release. Checkout the audio track HERE. Both "The Price Of Agony" and "Tower of Pain" can be found on the band's highly anticipated full length album Dark Skies, which was recorded, produced, and mixed by the legendary Drew Fulk (I Prevail, Motionless In White, Memphis May Fire). The album is available for physical pre-orders now and will be available for digital pre-order starting on July 13th. Check out the band's physical pre-order bundles on MerchNow HERE.

The four-piece will be hitting the road for their 2018 North American summer headline tour in support of the forthcoming release. The massive tour will kick off in Austin, Texas on July 18th and will wrap in Jacksonville, Florida on August 14th. Like Moths To Flames will be direct support to Fit For A King, with Currents opening the show. For more information or to purchase tickets visit the band's website HERE.

Fit For A King was built with bootstrap ethics and do-it-yourself vigor. On the strength of self-released material, the group joined Solid State for a string of successful albums that connected with the downtrodden and dispossessed. Creation/Destruction (2013) debuted at Number 6 on the Hard Rock chartSlave to Nothing (2014) cracked the Top 50 of Billboard's Top Current AlbumsDeathgrip (2016) climbed to Number 5 among Hard Rock Albums. Now, with the band's forthcoming release, Dark Skies, on the way, Fit For A King is looking to, once again, dominate the hard rock/metalcore scene.

Fit For A King is Ryan Kirby (vocals), Bobby Lynge (guitar), Jared Easterling (drums), and Ryan "Tuck" O'Leary (bass/vocals).
