Dear Parents,
For many years, the Wahlquist Spanish Department has sponsored a service project for needy kids in Ogden. Part of this project is a book and coat drive. From now until the 18th, we are collecting coats and books for students at Madison Elementary School in Ogden. If you have any coats that your kids have outgrown, send them along, and we’ll put them to good use! Even more, we need elementary-level books. If you have any books that your kids no longer read, we need as many as we can get! And don’t worry about hauling them around the school. You or your student can leave them with anyone in the Spanish Department first thing in the morning, or even drop them at the office, we’ll send someone to go get them!
Our goal is to make sure that every little kid in the elementary school goes home for the holiday with a warm coat and a few books to read!
