Parents of Junior Students (Class of 2018)
Monday, March 13, during 2nd hour there will be a class meeting in the auditorium to prepare Juniors for the online course request and scheduling process. Dates and deadlines will also be provided. Parents of Juniors are invited to attend. The time for this meeting will be at approximately 8:50 am. Junior students will receive instruction on the new online course request and scheduling process. Information from this meeting will be posted on www.behs.besd.net as well as attached to this email. Your student’s individualized registration packet will be distributed at this class meeting. This packet will include: (1) your student’s four-year graduation and college/career ready plan that was created during your planning meeting with your student’s counselor; (2) your student’s credit evaluation; and (3) other registration information.

2017-18 course request instructions
1. Login to your student Portal
2. Select Scheduler (top left hand corner)
3. Select Schedule Year 2017-18
4. Request 18 courses (Follow Your 4-year Plan)
A. Find desired course from list and click Request
B. Click “All” button to return to list of courses
C. Repeat steps A & B until all 18 courses are selected
5. Log out of Portal courses are automatically saved
Note: You must request 18 courses even if you plan to graduate early or have a parent release. It is highly advised that you follow your 4-year plan, otherwise you risk getting off track for graduation.
