Sorry for a lengthy email, but please read all the info below.
As a school, we want to create an activity that will be educational and keep our students engaged during last week of school. As part of our last week of school, we will be doing Junior Achievement in a Day on Tuesday, May 21st. Some of you have volunteered your time teaching Junior Achievement before. Junior Achievement involves lessons at various grade levels teaching about financial literacy, business, and community. These lessons are taught by individuals in our community whether it be parents, grandparents, or business people.
Here is more information on Junior Achievement https://www.juniorachievement.org/web/ja-usa/home
We are seeking volunteers to teach one lesson 4 times in a grade level on May 21st. Students in each grade level will be mixed into four groups for rotations. Our 5th grade already does Junior Achievement City in Salt Lake City and will not be participating. Our Kindergarten does not have enough time in the day to fit Junior Achievement in.
We will need help in grades 1,2,3,4,and 6.
We are in need of 4 volunteers per grade level on Tuesday, May 21st from 8:30-10:30 for grades 2,3,4,6 and 1:00pm-3:00pm in grade 1.
We would love to have parents or even grandparents come volunteer their time. If this is something you would be will to come help in our school, we would love it!
If you willing to help us out we need you signed up by Friday, April 26th so if all slots aren't filled, we can find some help.
