26th: Last Day of School, Early Out…No Breakfast or Lunch will be served
One of our school goals for 2017-2018 is to improve reading and comprehension scores. In order to achieve this, we need all our students to read this summer. The English department has put together a book reading list (access it by clicking here) and Mrs. Hall will have our school library open during the summer on the following dates:

Tuesday, June 6 12:00-1:00 PM
Friday, June 16 8:00-9:00 AM
Wednesday, June 21 9:00-10:00 AM
Monday, June 26 2:00-3:00 PM
Please encourage your student to check books out and read throughout the summer. Join them in their reading as students model our behaviors.
We are sad to announce that Mrs. Haws is being transferred over to Roy Jr. and we do not have enough words or space to express our appreciation for the time, effort, dedication, caring, humor, and support that she has brought to Orion the past 5 years. She will be greatly missed and we wish her the very best! Mr. Prall will be taking her place and we look forward to having him join our team.
