Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is an intensive leadership conference organized by Rotary clubs and districts where participants develop their skills as a leader while having fun and making connections. The Utah RYLA conference is scheduled for September 20 – 23, 2017. The Brigham City Rotary Club is accepting applications from current freshman and sophomores to attend this year’s RYLA.
RYLA consists of an all-expense paid three-day conference that brings together a special group of young men and women from across Utah to share ideas about becoming better leaders. Action-packed activities, like problem solving games, challenge course, group discussions, teambuilding activities, and world famous motivational speakers help participants build confidence and leadership skills.
Current freshman and sophomore students who are interested in applying for this year’s RYLA conference should pick up an application in their school’s counseling office or contact Jim Moore at jim@mvengr.net or Monica Holdaway at monicaholdaway@hotmail.com. After receipt of applications the Rotary Club committee will interview applicants. There are a limited number of spots available for RYLA.
