Our payment box is located at the west door. Willard City Office hours are Monday thru Friday from 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Water bills are sent out the 5th of the month and are due by the 20th. If you have any questions contact the Willard City Offices at 435-734-9881

of July Celebration will here before you know it! The 4 th of July committee will soon start planning for this year’s event. Police Department
Spring is just around the corner and Police Chief Nate Thompson has asked residents to keep houses and garage doors closed and locked. Also those with recreational vehicles, boats, utility or other various trailers to consider installing trailer locks to prevent theft.
Earthquake Simulation Trailer
Arrangements have been made with the State Fire Marshall’s Office for the Earthquake Simulation Trailer to be in Willard from April 8 th -10th
. This valuable training will be available for school, church, scout and family groups. Time slots for groups will be scheduled by appointments only. “Open” time slots will be available for local residents to stop by and take advantage of this useful training. Willard City Maintenance
The Willard City Maintenance Department would like to thank residents for removing vehicles and garbage cans from the sides of the streets during the snow storms last month. We hope spring has arrived, but if another storm happens to come our way please keep the sides of the roads clear for the safety of our personnel and to prevent property damage. When starting your spring yard clean-up, please do not pile it up on the City right-of-way.
Sewer Maintenance
We don't often think about our home drains and sewer line until there is a problem. There are a few simple steps you can take to ensure that your sewer line is kept in good condition, both inside and outside the home. You can help keep your home's plumbing system flowing freely from the sink drain to the sewer main by following these simple tips;
*Keep cooking fats and grease out of your kitchen drain. Pour cooking oil and grease into a disposable container and place it in your freezer. Once it solidifies you can dispose of it in the trash. *
Don’t flush wet towels, wipes, diapers, q -tips or hygiene products down the toilet. *Homeowners are responsible for keeping the sewer lateral, the pipe that connects to the municipal sewer main, in good condition.
Burn Permit
Before you burn your spring trimmings you must first obtain a burn permit. There is no cost for the permit and they are available by calling Box Elder Communications at 435-734-3833.
Building Permits
Spring is just around the corner and with it comes remodels, repairs, and the building of new sheds. Make sure that you check with the City Offices to see if a building permit is required.
