The latest warning from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is clear – Americans need to prepare for the spread of the coronavirus in communities across the country. That alert has local companies scrambling to find ways to keep employees and customers safe from this rapidly spreading virus, that still has no cure.

Concerns are heightened after doctors recently discovered the coronavirus also spreads through an infected patient’s FECES, according to the latest study in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA).
That’s why Enviro-Master Services, LLC., the nation’s leading commercial restroom hygiene company, and its Virus Vaporizer, is busier than ever blasting away the vicious viruses as they keep employees and customers healthy and protected. We invite you to see the disinfection in action.
Due to the effectiveness of Enviro-Master’s commercial restroom hygiene disinfection products on the feline and canine forms of the coronavirus, both the CDC and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approved their use to kill the new form of the coronavirus on hard surfaces.
Enviro-Master even teamed up with Dr. Charles Gerba, aka Dr. Germ, a renowned infectious disease control expert to prove its cleaning tools and products will protect the public from the coronavirus.
Dr. Germ, a microbiologist and professor at the University of Arizona, has studied Enviro-Master’s powerful disinfecting products and says they will indeed prevent and control the rapid spread of the coronavirus in the workplace and other public places.
Protecting the Public:
In the JAMA study, scientists found that DAYS BEFORE a patient shows obvious signs of the disease, including coughing and a fever, they can be contagious! Patients can experience gastrointestinal symptoms including diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting and unknowingly spread the disease while using public restrooms at work, school, or other public facilities.
That means anyone in your community can unknowingly become infected by the coronavirus, simply by using the restroom after someone who may look healthy but is actually carrying a potentially deadly virus. Here’s why:
“New studies showing the coronavirus can be spread through fecal matter are alarming,” says Dr. Gerba. “Scientists are working on a vaccine, but it could be months before clinical trials begin. To protect the public right now, good cleaning and disinfecting practices in public restrooms, like those provided by Enviro-Master, are important to help control the spread of the coronavirus.”
Listen here as Dr. Gerba discusses the need for better hygiene services, like those provided by Enviro-Master.
Disinfecting Weapons that Work
Local Enviro-Master health and hygiene technicians are available to demonstrate the Virus Vaporizer and discuss its effectiveness against the coronavirus and other contagious diseases.
Dr. Gerba is also available by phone or Skype to discuss Enviro-Master’s important role in protecting the public from this growing global health crisis. Dr. Gerba can also discuss the new JAMA study which shows the virus can spread through an infected patient’s feces.

Embarrassing moments from Trump’s visit to India
by Mel Gurtov
404 words
Donald Trump abroad never ceases to entertain with his ignorance and misstatements. As India’s leaders learned from Trump’s previous visits to Saudi Arabia and China, all it takes is pomp and circumstance to get this president’s favorable remarks. Here are a few gems from his just-concluded visit:
“Someone said it was greatest greeting ever given to any head of state of any country.” Shades of the inauguration. As the Times referenced, President Eisenhower was greeted by about a million people during a state visit. And at a packed stadium for a speech, video shows Indians leaving in droves while Trump droned on.
“We did talk about religious freedom, and I will say that the prime minister — it was incredible what he told me. He wants people to have religious freedom, and very strongly.”
Religious freedom? As he said this, smoke was rising from nearby street fighting between Muslims and Hindus that resulted in the deaths of at least 13 people.
Memo to Trump: Review Modi’s efforts to turn India into a Hindu state under a new citizenship law that would potentially deport millions of Muslims.
“They have really worked hard on religious freedom. We talked about it for a long time, and I really believe that’s what he wants.” As with Putin when he assures Trump that Russia has never interfered in US elections, Trump is ready to believe fellow autocrats rather than bother with evidence. Doing so is calculated: Trump wants something in return, and with India it’s a big trade deal. Which leads to the next point.
“We think we’re at a point where our relationship is so special with India, it has never been as good as it is now. We feel very strongly about each other, and we have done something that is very unique.”
But nothing “very unique” happened, as Trump later acknowledged: “We’re being charged large amounts of tariffs, and they can’t do that. I want reciprocal. The United States has to be treated fairly.”
Well, there you have it: he wants reciprocal. (Ignore the English, as usual.) This astounding friendship, it turns out, has its limits—just like the love affair with Kim Jong-un, or Rodrigo Duterte, or Xi Jinping.
This president, who knows nothing about India and cares only about doing a trade deal did have time to tweet attacks on the objectivity of Supreme Court justices RGB and Sotomayor. I guess his mind was elsewhere.

Senate Leadership Appreciates Teachers and will Continue to Highly Prioritize Education
SALT LAKE CITY – High-quality education is crucial to Utah’s ongoing success. Senate leadership recognizes and appreciates the vital ongoing role of our state’s teachers. During the past decade as the Legislature worked hard to make much-needed improvements in education funding, Utah’s teachers have consistently produced top-notch results. Education funding has been and will continue to be a top priority for the Utah State Legislature. Children and youth are our future. Giving students tools to succeed is key to ensuring Utah continues to be a top place to live, work and raise a family.
“Utah has the best teachers in the country,” said President J. Stuart Adams. “I express my appreciation to educators for all they to do to strengthen the state by educating our children and empowering them to have future success.”
Since 2015, Utah has spent about half of all state funds on public education, and legislators have increased annual public education spending from about $2.8 billion to $3.8 billion — a 37 percent increase.
Public education funding has increased an average of $205 million each year. This is equivalent to a more than six percent annual increase in the weighted pupil unit (WPU). Since 2016, WPU expenditures have increased by 14 percent — a $507 million increase.
Education funding and improvement is a top annual focus for the Legislature. During the past five years, the Legislature has:
In 2019, the School LAND Trust Program added more than $82 million to K-12 schools at no cost to the taxpayers.
Quality education strengthens the economy and it strengthens families. Excellent education programs are vital to our youth and our state’s future. As we work to balance the state’s budget during the next three weeks, we will carefully review proposed legislation and funding proposals from legislators, stakeholders, engaged constituents and community leaders. We will be receiving and evaluating input from the state’s top government, industry and education leaders as well as individuals and families.
We will work together to find the best solutions for Utah and will do what we have done for years: find ways to improve education and meet state needs to the best of our ability within the available budget. We will continue to improve our public education system as we work to meet other critical state needs and prepare for the future. By working together, we will find ways to meet state needs this year within the available budget.
We look forward to having educators from across the state at the Capitol during Educator Day on the Hill.

DENVER—Today, the Bureau of Land Management ended a moratorium on new coal leasing on public lands, lifting a pause implemented under the Obama administration to study coal mining’s effects on public health, lands, and the climate. The BLM conducted an environmental assessment following a court order to revisit the decision to lift the moratorium enacted under former Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke in 2017. A judge also dismissed the administration’s efforts to repeal a policy that increases coal royalty revenues for taxpayers. Despite the administration’s favoritism, coal mining companies are going bankrupt and coal power plants continue to shut down across the West.
The Center for Western Priorities released the following statement from Executive Director Jennifer Rokala:
“The result of this environmental review was cooked from the start—the Trump administration tried to end the coal moratorium three years ago, but was so sloppy that a judge told them to try again. Similarly, the administration tried to reopen a loophole allowing coal companies to skirt royalties owed to taxpayers, only to lose in court.
“Right now, fossil fuels extracted from public lands account for one-quarter of U.S. greenhouse gas emissions. But instead of ensuring our public lands are part of the climate solution, the former oil lobbyist in charge of the Interior Department is trying to open even more places for drilling and mining.”

.House Leaders Address Planned Teacher Walk Out
SALT LAKE CITY – Speaker of the House Brad Wilson issued the following statement today in response to the planned walk out by teachers in the Salt Lake City School District:
All citizens and advocacy groups have the right to express their position regarding legislation and state funding priorities as they see fit. As elected officials, our door is always open to productive discussions, particularly those that provide insights that help us craft better policies.
We stand ready to discuss current and future education funding plans with the Salt Lake Education Association, the teachers it represents, and any other school districts and education associations. When legislators say education is a top budget priority, we mean it--and the facts show that commitment.
Over the last five years:
Additionally:
Unfortunately, the Salt Lake Education Association did not reach out to us to discuss their concerns with education appropriations prior to posting a notice online that teachers plan to walk out of their classrooms on February 28. We strongly believe there are more productive ways to express concern which avoid the unnecessary disruption of the education of Utah students and the inconvenience for parents who may have to adjust work schedules to accommodate the walk out.
Legislative leaders stand ready to visit Salt Lake City School District schools to help in the classroom if administrators need support during this disruption. We encourage the teachers to consider alternatives, including meeting with legislative leadership and reviewing actual funding proposals.

Individuals with ADHD carry a higher risk for substance use problems, and cannabis is one of the most widely abused substances. Many parents and adults assume that cannabis is safe — even medicinal — for ADHD. However, this is far from the truth, especially in young people.
