The Annual 9/11 Commemoration reminds us of the Unity we experienced in 2001. Utah’s 18th Annual Healing Field® Event located at the Sandy City Prominade
If we learn nothing else from this tragedy, we learn that life is short and there is no time for hate.”
— Sandy Dahl, wife of Flight 93 pilot Jason Dahl
SANDY, UTAH, USA, August 28, 2019 /EINPresswire.com/ -- More than 3,300 U.S. flags will fly from September 7th through 12th at Colonial Flag Foundation’s 18th Annual Healing Field® display on the lawns at 10000 South Centennial Parkway in Sandy.
Three terrorist attacks killed thousands of innocent victims in a single day, and thousands of U.S. flags will fly in a beautiful and memorable sea of red, white & blue with each flag telling the story of one person. The flags honor the lives lost in an uplifting display of the Stars & Stripes, while raising funds for Honor 365’s dynamic programs to benefit veterans.
Volunteers will, as they have done for years in the past, post 3,300 U.S. flags south of the Sandy City Hall in perfect rows and columns on Friday, the 6th of September beginning at 5:30 PM. Those who have taken part in the setup of flags enthusiastically return year after year to take an active part in the event, and there is a shared excitement felt when posting the flags.
With flags flying & free to the public, visitors may walk amid them and read the names of those remembered that are printed on tags attached to the flags. Knowing that those killed in the attacks are remembered brings a sense of healing to those visiting the display, and flags will remain displayed daily through Wednesday, September 11th before being taken down the following evening at 5:30 PM.
A special program and ceremony will take place on Wednesday, September 11th, which is the 18th anniversary of the 2001 attacks. This touching program brings the event into focus that the mature may remember and the young may learn

Tampa, FL - August 29, 2019 - Posthardcore band LIMBS is set to return to the stage this fall as direct support for Sharptooth. The run, which also features Wristmeetrazor, kicks off on November 8th in Chesapeake and includes stops in Brooklyn, Providence, Toronto, Nashville, and more. Last year LIMBS found a home with UNFD, ahead of the release of their debut album Father's Son, which gives listeners a dark and brooding look at a young man's journey out of religion as he comes to terms with both his upbringing and his own actions.. A conceptual album following a young man breaking free from his indoctrinated upbringing, the album explores the harm it causes and the strength in reclaiming your own life.

LIMBS' latest live video for their album's title track, "Father's Son," was filmed during the band's 2018 tour with Underoath, Dance Gavin Dance, and Veil Of Maya. Streaming HERE the video captures the electricity and raw power of a LIMBS live show - from headbanging to epic stage dives and beyond. Experience it for yourself when LIMBS hits the stage later this year.
Earlier this year LIMBS announced that longtime friend Austin McAuley would bestepping into the role of lead vocalist. McCauley debuted with LIMBS at the end of 2018 while on tour with Currents, giving fans a taste of his energy and passion before bringing it into the studio for new music.
"I'm extremely grateful for the opportunity and am very excited for everything in the future. Joining LIMBS really has pushed me musically, and creating these new jams has me so hyped," McAuley shares. "Stepping into this new role has definitely been challenging in some aspects, but it's given me the privilege to join my closest friends on stage every night, as well as further develop the standards in our writing. I believe this new music heavily reflects our movement forward, and quite frankly I'm ready to release more."
McAuley first appeared on LIMBS' latest single, "Abandoned," a hard-hitting track that originally premiered on Metal Injection. The song is out now and available at unfd.lnk.to/Abandoned.

EUROPEAN TOUR WITH CAPSTAN AND DOLL SKIN
KICKS OFF NEXT MONTH
August 29, 2019 - Trash Boat have shared a new single, "Synthetic Sympathy" available everywhere to stream or download. Fans can check out the visual video here: smarturl.it/SyntheticSympathy.
Yesterday, the band premiered the single exclusively with Kerrang!.
Speaking to the song, Trash Boat frontman Tobi Duncan said, "When you're experiencing problems in life that are long term or permanent, it often alters the way in which your friends and family interact with you."
"Such a prominent thing can become the first port of call for conversation or serve as a platform for people to offer sympathy, as this is really the only thing available," he continued. "I'm not saying this is bad. I'm fortunate enough to have people I know that love me and know I love them. I think being honest and discussing these things are important. People need support."
This song is just a source for me to vent about the looming dread of life, perpetuated by a never ending chain of equally inconsequential conversations, that after so much time and repetition, only serve to remind me that it exists until it doesn't feel real anymore."
Trash Boat's latest full length album Crown Shyness was released last summer via Hopeless Records. The album explores similarly disparate emotions, juxtaposing hard-fought introspection against external strife to create a propulsive, captivating blend of punk and melodic hardcore. It it was produced by Andrew Wade (A Day To Remember, Neck Deep).
The band will kick off their European tour with Capstan and Doll Skin next month in Zurch, Switzerland. They'll embark on a tour with Don Broco, Sleep On It, and Selfish Things in September and the first half of October, then round out the month with a headlining tour with Hold Close. For a full list of tour dates, please see below. Tickets can be purchased here. A full list of tour dates can be seen below.
