NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL VACANCY
Notice is hereby given that Willard City will be accepting applications for individuals wanting to be considered to fill the interim vacancy for City Council Member. The appointment will be for the remainder of the term and will be placed on the ballot in the 2015 Municipal General Election. Qualifications for consideration are:
1. Be a United States Citizen
2. Be a registered voter of the municipality
3. Be a resident of the municipality for a period of 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of the appointment.
4. To not be a convicted felon, unless the right to hold elective office has been restored.
Applications are available in the city office and must be filed in person at the office of the City Recorder during regular office hours (M-F, 9 a.m-5 p.m.) and not later than 12 noon on May 21, 2014. Applications will then be considered by the City Council during the regular meeting to be held on May 22, 2014, at 6:30 pm at the Willard City Hall, 80 W 50 S, Willard, UT.
