Bates Elementary

Bates Elementary School will be continuing with the Chinese Dual Immersion Program.  We are getting ready for the registration process for the 2019-2020 school year. The first step in this process will be a parent meeting which will be held on Monday, March 11, 2018, from 5:30-6:30 PM in Bates’ library. The purpose of this meeting is to inform parents about our dual immersion program, the registration and changes in selection process, requirements, deadlines, and to answer any questions that you may have. Even if you have attended the meeting previously, please attend for new information regarding the selection process. 

All students within Weber School District may apply. Anyone who is interested in the program and will have a first grade student next year (2019-2020) is encouraged to attend this meeting. If you know of anyone interested in Chinese Immersion, please forward this information to them.

To contribute images and video for the yearbook please go to the link below. It will ask for your email address (just in case I have any questions about the photos or where they came from) and it will ask you to choose a section they belong in. All of the events from Bates are listed and all of the grades.
 

If you are uploading kids from a specific class party then please put those in the that teachers section and grade. If you are uploading a group of kids from the same class, but it is at an event then please put them into the event folder. If you have photos from something that is not listed in a section then please put it in the the folder entitled “Other.”

Kindergarten Round Up is fast approaching on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at 1:30pm. If you have not already preregistered, please print out the attached form and return it to the office as soon as possible. Those who did preregister should have received their registration packets in the mail. In order to avoid long lines at Round Up, please return those packets and the required forms back to the office at your earliest convenience. If you did not receive your child’s registration packet, please stop by to pick one up.

 If you know of anyone with a Kindergarten age child, please feel free to forward this email on to them.
