Perry City welcomes new Mayor, Kevin Jeppsen, and also our new Council Member, Andrew Watkins!

Perry City will host an open house on Tuesday, January  9, 2018, to honor the service of outgoing mayor Karen Cronin. The event will be held at Three Mile Creek Elementary, 265 South 1050 West, Perry, from 6 to 7 p.m. The public is invited. Refreshments will be served.

Young Ford presented Three Mile Creek Elementary with a check for $1,500 for the coloring contest pages our school did during October. We appreciate their support of Three Mile Creek students and staff!

Congratulations to our wonderful January Explorers of the Month! We are so proud of them!

A reminder to all businesses that your licenses were due by the end of December.  Iif you have not gotten it mailed in, do so ASAP. Also a quick reminder that dog licenses are due by end of January. There is a Rabies clinic in Willard this Saturday, January 6th from 10:00 am to noon at the fire station.

With all the melting of our snow pack, we don’t think about there being an avalanche danger. The Utah Avalanche Center has issued a warning regarding unstable backcountry snow conditions along the Wasatch Front, including the Bear River Range east of Logan and the Wasatch between Box Elder and Cache counties.

* REASON/IMPACTS...RECENT SNOW AND WIND HAS CREATED WIDESPREAD AREAS OF UNSTABLE SNOW. HUMAN TRIGGERED AVALANCHES ARE LIKELY. AVALANCHES CAN BE TRIGGERED REMOTELY FROM A DISTANCE AND FROM BELOW. STAY OFF OF AND OUT FROM UNDER SLOPES STEEPER THAN 30 DEGREES.
