NEW ALBUM IDENTITY CRISIS
OUT AUGUST 31
AVAILABLE FOR PRE-ORDER
AUGUST 26, 2018 - Liverpool, UK - WSTR have shared "Silly Me", the third single off their upcoming album Identity Crisis, out August 31st on Hopeless Records. Fans can check out the visual here: smarturl.it/SillyMeVisual
Next week, WSTR will join Neck Deep, Trophy Eyes, and Stand Atlantic on The Peace and The Panic Part 2 Tour. Later this Fall, WSTR will kick off a co-headlining tour with pop-punk trio PVMNTS. For a full list of tour dates, please see below.
Speaking to the new record, Identity Crisis, vocalist Sammy Clifford expressed the band's desire to push the band's songwriting, take chances, and bring some swagger into the album.
"We've added all these different genres into our sound while keeping the WSTR roots. This record is about putting the simple things together well and trying to make them great."
Working once again with long-time friend and producer, Seb Barlow (Neck Deep, As It Is), WSTR channeled the energy of the classics they grew up on and blasted forward with guitar solos, ad libs, and sing-a-long choruses that defiantly punches through the crowd. After extensive touring in the UK/Europe and Australia with bands like Neck Deep and Creeper, marquee festival runs on Slam Dunk Festival and Download Festival, and an upcoming North America tour, WSTR is geared up for the year ahead.
WSTR is Sammy Clifford (vocals), Alex Tobijanski (bass), Andy Makin (drums), and Tom Hawkes (guitar). Identity Crisis is the follow up to 2017's Red Green Or Inbetween.

AFTER TOUCH
EP YOU WISH THIS WAS ABOUT YOU OUT
ON SEPTEMBER 7th
Shellharbour, AUS - August 27th, 2018 - After Touch has dropped their brand new single "Six Feet Closer," which fans can check out now at youtu.be/kX38GlyZp_8. The darkly brooding "Six Feet Closer" is the latest track off the band's forthcoming EP, You Wish This Was About You, which comes out on September 7th via UNFD. The EP is now available for pre-order at unfd.lnk.to/AfterTouchEP.
On the new track, the band shares: "'Six Feet Closer' is about learning that you might not actually love someone, you're just addicted to them. I lived in a fantasy; a shallow, superficial relationship that I thought was right. I was at 'the end of my rope'. I let go of my morals, my values and my sense of self to be with this person, and it ultimately left me with nothing - much like a drug. I wanted that person so much that it ultimately destroyed me and I had to leave.
I didn't have the strength to say what I wanted to say in person, so the lyrics to 'Six Feet Closer' is what I wish I had said to that person."
You Wish This Was About You, presents a sonic shift for the Australian melodic hardcore band, who previously released music as Easy Life. The album brings the aggression and energy Easy Life built their name on and mixes it with modern take on heavy emotional music with electronic flourishes and an exploration of string arrangements. The band recreates themselves with a sense of atmosphere and darkness. Listening back to what they had crafted it made them realize they were an entirely different band to Easy Life, inspiring the name change to After Touch.
You Wish This Was About You features five brand new empowering tracks that focus on standing strong and believing in yourself after a toxic relationship. The forthcoming release, which deals with the perils of placing your entire self-worth in another person when ultimately only you can make yourself happy, follows the band's previous EP, There Can't Be This Much Water In The Sky (2017).
After Touch formed in 2014 with the goal of escaping their small town and taking the unknown road. Fueled by ambition, in their short time together, After Touch found a home on triple j Unearthed Radio with an "Artist Spotlight" and a rotation add of their previous single "I'm Fading Away". The band has previously shared the stage with Trophy Eyes, Northlane, The Story So Far, and Dream on Dreamer.
After Touch is Max Pasalic (vocals), Kurt Haywood (bass), Jack Rankin (guitar), Jesse Mate-Gallo (guitar), Jordan Pranic (drums).
