Perry—With winter fading off, there has been several winter activities with the Young Women and Young Men at the Perry 3rd Ward. Back on January the 27th, they all went for a winter fun night of ice skating. They had a great time learning to skate with family and friends. The Young Men held their Duty to God orientation on February 3 with their parents in attendance.
Blue & Gold turned out to be a blast on February 10th, with a great turn out. All the Scouts and their siblings had a great time. John Dickey had flying cans, adding to the success of ‘Litter to Glitter’ theme. The Scouts received many awards for all their work. Webelos have had a blast earning their scientists pins. The Wolf and Bears received the Marbles belt loop and pin and their Nutrition belt loop. They learned to play Marbles and baked cookies and had a Marble tournament. “It's been a fun filled month for the Wolf, Bear and Webelos dens,” Ron Bodily said.
Perry Mid-Singles celebrated Valentine’s Day with HAPPY SINGLE AWARENESS DAY! Karaoke and Just Dance! It was a chance to show off skills, cheer on others, to check it off of a bucket list or just to kick back and enjoy the music and treats. Hanging out and making new friends at the Old Perry Church on Friday February 13th, everyone had a great time. It’s okay to be single. Kids were invited and everyone brought a treat to share with everyone else.
