I was asked to send out the following information on behalf of Bates Elementary where the Chinese Immersion program is held. Please direct questions to Bates Elementary principal, Kitty Barney, regarding this program. 

Tuesday, March 1st, at 5:30 pm in the Majestic Elementary Cafeteria (425 W 2550 N) there will be a SPANISH IMMERSION Parent Meeting for parents of current Kindergarten students who are interested in applying to the SPANISH IMMERSION program. The purpose of this meeting is to inform parents about the DUAL-IMMERSION program, the weighted lottery process, requirements, deadlines and to answer any questions. Applications will be made available that evening.

Rabbits are the third most adopted pet at the Humane Society of Utah

To celebrate Adopt a Rescued Rabbit Month in February, the Humane Society of Utah is offering a special adoption fee of $10 for one rabbit or $15 for two. All rabbits are neutered or spayed, and HSU can help educate adopters on the proper equipment, care and training needed for their new pet bunny.
