Just a reminder that parent teacher conferences are next week, Monday, October 12-Wednesday, October 14. We will have early out Monday through Wednesday. School gets out at 1:20. Our school bookfair will run in conjunction with conferences in the gym.  

There will be no school on Thursday, October 15th and Friday, October 16th for Fall Break

PTA is doing a Box Top War contest here at the school. Please send any Boxtops you have to school with your child this week.

Online 2016 Scholarship Application Now Available
NFIB teams with VISA to boost award amounts

OLYMPIA, Wash., Oct. 1, 2015—The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB) Young Entrepreneur Foundation announced today that its scholarship application for the 2016 NFIB Young Entrepreneur Awards is now available.

High school seniors who run their own business and plan to attend a two- or four-year university, college, or vocational institute during the fall of 2016 are eligible to apply.

Utahn’s Cross Country Bike-Ride for Homelessness Ends with Visit to Senator Hatch

Washington—Senator Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, welcomed Utahn Carol Hollowell, the executive director of the Switchpoint Community Resource Center in St. George, in the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday afternoon as she completed a 3,760 mile bike ride across the country to raise awareness about homelessness and poverty.
