ESCALANTE, Utah (October 8, 2018) — Runners at the Escalante Canyons Marathon and Half-Marathon on Saturday, October 13, 2018, will have one of the earliest chances to qualify for the 2020 Boston Marathon. This year, runners face a more challenging race since the Boston Marathon qualifying pace has changed to reflect shorter, more competitive times.

Imperiled Sage-Grouse Now Confronted by Weakened Forest Plans

WASHINGTON, D.C. (October 5, 2018) — Proposed changes to the U.S. Forest Service’s 2015 conservation plans for the greater sage-grouse could further imperil the iconic bird.
