Utah Governor Gary R. Herbert will be traveling to Duchesne, Utah to visit the site of the Dollar Ridge Fire. Governor Herbert will visit the Incident Command Center before hosting a brief media scrum at the Duchesne High School Shelter Site.

Utah Lt. Gov. Reduces Document Authentication Fees for Adopting Parents

 

SALT LAKE CITY (July 2, 2018) – Utah Lt. Governor Spencer J. Cox is pleased to announce a reduction in fees for authenticating adoption paperwork used for overseas adoptions. The fees have been reduced from $15.00 per document to $10.00 per document. The change aims to ease some of the financial burden for Utah parents working to complete the often costly and complicated steps to adopt a child from abroad.

Utah principal crop planted acreage, which includes acres planted to all major crops and those expected to be cut for all hay, is down less than 1 percent from 2017 to 933,000 acres, according to the June 1 Agricultural Survey conducted by the Mountain Regional Field Office of the National Agricultural Statistics Service, USDA.
