Weber State University Expands BFA Program to The Monarch with Visual Art & Design Studios
We are thrilled to further our creative partnership with Weber State University's Lindquist College of Art & Humanities, which was sparked by Jane Kim's Migrating Mural project last year. The collaboration continues this August as we welcome BFA thesis students from WSU's Department of Visual Art and Design into our creative studios.
Hope you'll cover this! This will become an annual ranking from Utah Cultural Alliance. You may be surprised to learn that Rockville, Torrey, and Park City have the highest numbers of per capita creative industries jobs this year.
Next year, UCA will calculate what cities offer for the arts and humanities into their rankings (such as, does the city have an arts council or historic preservation commission?)
Treasurer Damschen announces record-breaking $29.3 million in unclaimed cash returned to Utahns in FY2019
SALT LAKE CITY – August 13, 2019 – Utah State Treasurer David Damschen today announced that the Utah Unclaimed Property Division reunited a record-breaking $29.3 million in lost property with rightful owners in fiscal year 2019 (July 2018 – June 2019).
