Flying Machines is an iterative computer program that generates endless variations on a wing form within a given set of parameters. The original structure of the wing is drawn from a Leonardo da Vinci flying machine sketch. By varying its proportions, curves, oscillations and structural density, the program can generate a range of forms from birds to bats, butterflies to pterodactyls, and man-made gliders to genetic mutants. The work is a reflection on human curiosity and its implications for art, science, nature and technology.
Molly Morin is an artist and educator working at the intersection of digital and analog practices. She makes material representations of information through generative drawing, soft sculpture, and digital fabrication. Through her creative practice, she develops critical and poetic approaches to making art with digital tools. Her projects set out to challenge assumed hierarchies, question our faith in data, and discover new means of making across traditional technical and disciplinary boundaries. She is currently preparing for a forthcoming exhibition at the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art and an invited lecture at the National Academy of Science.

February 2018 - SECRETS are set to head out on a headlining world tour, kicking off February 22nd in San Diego. The tour will coincide with the release of their self-titled album, out 2/23 via Made In The Shade Records. is celebrating the premiere of their brand new song "New Jersey Makes, The World Takes" today. Fans can head over to Alternative Press to get an exclusive first listen to the third single from upcoming album, If There Is Light, It Will Find You. Produced by Beau Burchell (Moose Blood, Saosin, Hands Like Houses), the 7th full-length album from Senses Fail brings fans back to the band's rock roots while also experimenting with brighter, melody-driven exteriors. If There Is Light, It Will Find You is due out February 16th via Pure Noise Records and can be pre-ordered here.
On the track, singer Buddy Nielsen shares, "Over the years I have lost a number of friends to drug addictions. This song addresses those losses and how I have tried to intervene in people's addictions over the years. As someone who has battled addiction, I know that the change has to come from within. While support and resources are very important it is ultimately a decision that is on the person who is battling. So many of us in this country have a friend or loved one who has lost their battle and I thought it is important to highlight that struggle."
"New Jersey Makes, The World Takes" joins recently released singles "Gold Jacket, Green Jacket..." and "Double Cross." With adds to top Spotify playlists like Crash Course, Pop Punk's Not Dead as well as Apple Music playlists like Breaking Hard Rock, these singles have seen great successes on streaming services.
