The Caucus is over, the convention is done and Republican David MacInnes has chosen to file for Weber County Sheriff.

He says, “I’m in this election because over two thousand citizens of this county signed a petition to put my name on the primary ballot. I’m here because of you.  I’m here because you believe in me and for that I am humbled and thankful.”

MacInnes says there is work to be done, changes to be made and leadership needed. “I can and will be the catalyst of our needed change because I know I can’t do it alone.  It will take hard work, it will involve difficult decisions.  I will give this county everything I have.”

MacInnes goes onto say, “I know the men and women I surround myself with will do the same. I will expect nothing less because that is your expectation as well.  Together we will work to restore your trust, together, we will work to restore your pride. This election is no longer in the hands of a few. Now is the time to be heard.”
