County-level estimates for 2017 cash rents for irrigated and non-irrigated cropland and pastureland are now available, according to the USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service. The estimates, based primarily on surveys conducted with farmers and ranchers, can be accessed using the QuickStats online database, found here: http://www.nass.usda.gov/Quick_Stats/

Award Winning Deming, NM Restaurant Wins Big At 2017 National Buffalo Wing Festival
Bob Yacone and his wife, Kim Yacone, owners ofForghedaboudit Pizza in Deming, NM won 1st Place in “Dry Rub" and 3rd Place in “XHot” at the 2017 National Buffalo Wing Festival held over Labor Day weekend in Buffalo New York. This impressive win adds to the 2016 2nd place finish at the National Buffalo Wing Fest for their popular and unique maple bacon wings.
Forghedaboudit’s wins are not just limited to wings, earlier in 2017 they won 1st Place in "Traditional Pizza" in the Southwest Region at the 33rd Annual International Pizza Fest held in March in Las Vegas. In addition to it's win in the Southwest Region, Forghedaboudit placed 2nd in the US and 4th in the world. Forghedaboudit is the only restaurant in the nation with both first place wins under one roof. In 2017, Yacone is finalist for chef and restaurateur of the year in New Mexico.
The National Buffalo Wing Fest is recognized as one of the best in the country. In 2016, the festival drew over 70,000 people. Over the last 17 years, the festival has drawn more than 865,000 people and served over 4.6 million wings. The festival, which also supports local charities, has donated more than $345,000 since its inception.
According to Bob Yacone, "I am so proud of the fact that Forghedaboudit Pizza is the only pizza/Italian restaurant that has been nationally and internationally recognized and awarded in both the pizza and wings category." The two oven method of cooking serves up authentic New York style pizza which is prepared on an authentic style Italian browning stones for it's customers. "I try and bring the passion for pizza from New York, our ingredients are shipped from the east coast and the homemade sauce is made daily." Said Yacone
Forghedaboudit is family-owned and operated by Yacone and his wife, Kim, who runs the front and finances, along with his daughter Caleigh who attends the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. Yacone serves more than 1,000 people per week at his location and is confident in both his pizza as well as his family’s drive for success. Yacone has future plans to build his second restaurant location in Las Cruces, NM by the end of this year.
