Plain City Recreation

Baseball, Softball, & Tee Ball Signups: March 1st—March 21st

  • Ages 4+ Preschool - 2nd Grade: $40.00
  • 3rd-9th Grade: $45.00 (team shirt included in price)

Register in the Plain City Offices: March 12th 8:00 am—5:00 pm
Late signups: March 22nd—March 31st (A $10.00 late fee will be charged)

Plain City Arena

Season opens: April 1st - Season closes: September 30th
Open rides are: Sundays, Mondays-Thursdays before 5:00 pm
Youth groups — no cost (participate in city cleanup in May)
All other groups — $100/season
Reservations on a first come first serve basis and will be open for the year on March 3rd for PC residents.
Payment is due at time of registration.

Plain City Youth Council 

 

Plain City will be organizing a city youth council.  If your teenager is interested in participating please contact LaFray Kelley by email at lafrayk@q.com with your contact information. This will be a great opportunity to serve the community and gain experience that can be used on future resumes and college applications.  

 

Community Clean-Up

Saturday May 3rd 

 

If you have a group that is interested in participating in this project or have ideas of areas in our community that could use the help of the community to clean up please email LaFray Kelley ( lafrayk@q.com) she will contact you in the beginning April with a project for your group. This is a great opportunity to give back to

 the community and welcome in spring and summer!  

 

Utah Pioneers Cabin/Museum 

 

The Plain City Camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers have a cabin/museum in the middle of town. It is located on the west side of the center church parking lot. The cabin was built in 1860 by John Carver. The

 Plain City Camp was deeded the cabin many years ago and have the responsibility of caring for it and carrying on the legacy left us by our pioneer ancestors. The cabin is in need of restoration and we need your help! 

 

 We have been fundraising for this project since Spring of 2013 and are so grateful for those who have donated thus far, but we still have a long way to go. If you can help us, any amount will be greatly appreciated.

 

Checks can be made out to: Plain City Camp DUP for cabin restoration. A receipt will be mailed to you. Donations can be given to:

Recycling

 

Just a reminder, only the following items are recyclable: #1 (pete) and #2 (hope) plastics (milk cartons, soda bottles, grocery bags, most plastic cleaning fluid containers), clean cardboard and paper (remove wax or foil liners), and household aluminum and steel (tin foil, food cans, clothes hangers, steel nuts and bolts). Grass clippings are not recyclable. For yard waste, please use our green waste facility located at 2800 N. 5100 W.
