This year we have been asking for a "full court press" to get students to attend every day and to be on time to their classes. We have seen significant gains in attendance this year but there are always areas that need improvement. Attending regularly will help students academically and help them to feel connected to school. If you would like to know if your son/daughter is asbsent, just go into the student portal and sign up to receive these notifications and you will get them electronically each day!! Call the school if you have any questions on how to get these notifications.
A REMINDER.... THERE IS ONLY ONE WEEK REMAINING IN THE 2ND TERM. THE QUARTER ENDS NEXT FRIDAY, JANUARY 15TH. PLEASE LOG ON TO THE PORTAL (IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY) AND SEE WHERE YOUR SON/DAUGHTER IS AT ACADEMICALLY... IF HE/SHE IS NOT PASSING ONE OR MORE CLASSES, PLEASE GET WITH HIS/HER TEACHER AND LET'S WORK TOGETHER TO EARN CREDITS IN EVERY CLASS... IS THE GOAL! PLEASE LET US KNOW HOW WE CAN HELP. THERE'S STILL TIME TO GET MAKEUP WORK IN! IT'S A GREAT DAY TO BE A SILVERWOLF!
