We’re already 12 days into the “100 Deadliest Days of Summer” and the roads are heating up. During the months of June, July, and August, there are 26% more fatal car accidents involving teens, according to We Save Lives. Utah is no stranger to teen fatalities.

In the most recent data collected by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 28 Utah teen drivers (ages 16-20) died from a fatal car crash in 2017 (even one is too many).

Les Schwab Tires, champion of automotive safety, wants to help everyone stay safe on the roads this summer. They’ve created a free and interactive Summer Road Trip Checklist (vetted by qualified car safety experts) to help us take important precautions before we start our engines this summer.

In this checklist, your readers will be reminded to check essential automotive functions such as:

  • Car battery levels
  • Fluid levels
  • Shock and strut condition
  • Proper tire alignment
  • Any and all essential car related needs

usually front and center." - The Alternative

On Tour Now with As Cities Burn

June 14, 2019 - All Get Out has released the Northport Sessions EP today via Equal Vision Records! It is now available for purchase or to stream through Spotify and Apple Music.

The new EP includes four acoustic/reimagined versions of songs taken from the band's recent album 'No Bouquet' as well as a brand-new song called "Northport". Fans can watch a video visual for 'Northport' here: https://youtu.be/txZ_Q0q94ro

The songs were done remotely, with band members Nathan Hussey, Kyle Samuel and Dom Nastasi never seeing each other in person throughout its creation. The EP reflects on Nathan's move to Northport, Alabama, and self-doubt. "We were all transitioning in our personal lives to some extent, especially with the time off, and the EP provided a creative grounding for experimentation as well as a process for us to explore sounds that we hadn't been able to in the past," mentions Kyle.

  • If the letters A, B and O vanished from daily life – your keyboard, road signs, familiar brands and locations we may see every day, like the iconic Welcome to Las Vegas sign – you would notice. When type A, B, O or AB blood is missing from hospitals, a person’s life could be at risk.

That’s why today, World Blood Donor Day, the American Red Cross is asking you to help ensure blood is there when a patient needs it by encouraging the public to join the #MissingTypes movement. A news release explaining the Missing Types campaign, including new findings about the public’s perception about blood donation and usage, is available online  in English, and for download in Spanish.

During the Missing Types campaign, the A’s, B’s and O’s are disappearing from brand logos, social media pages, signs and websites to draw attention to the critical role of every blood donor. Dozens of brands and celebrities have signed on to support the campaign, and many big brands are already helping spread the word on social media, including Ace Hardware, Adobe, CarMax, Chevrolet, The Clorox Company, OnStar and PayPal. Additionally, earlier this week Missing Types partner Facebook, in partnership with the Red Cross and other blood collection organizations, launched a new Blood Donations feature in select markets with plans to expand later this summer that will help raise awareness about the critical need for blood donors and make it easier to find opportunities to donate.
