Emo Nite Day Tickets On Sale Now

October 13th, 2017 - Los Angeles, CA - Today, the founders of Emo Nite LA are overjoyed to be premiering the short documentary "Every Nite is Emo Nite" exclusively with Paper Magazine. The film was directed by Anderson Wright and features three individuals that are central figures in their city's frequent events -- Rocky, Dante and Brittany. Although these three live in different states, have extremely different backgrounds and current careers, they all have found a home in their respective Emo Nites that have become a mainstay in cities like Portland, Baltimore, San Francisco, Seattle, Phoenix and of course, Los Angeles. Brittany spoke to why Emo Nite was important to her, sharing "The music comes on, and everyone is equal." The documentary and exclusive interview with the Director are available here.

On the choice to showcase the Emo Nite story, Wright shared "When you go to Emo Nite, you join a community of individuals who are connecting with music on a remarkably intense and personal level. This is a beautiful thing that I felt deserved to be explored in a film. I attended my first Emo Nite in Seattle, alone, on Valentine's Day. The energy in that room was unlike anything I'd ever experienced. I found a connection with the music that was indescribably pure. Songs that I hadn't heard in a decade filled me with emotions that I hadn't felt since childhood. Lyrics that were stored deep inside of me began pouring out. That night was a cathartic experience."

Recently, the Emo Nite founders announced Emo Nite Day, their largest event to date to celebrate their 3-Year Anniversary. Taking over Shrine Expo Hall in Los Angeles, CA on December 3rd, 2017, this will bring together every element that Emo Nite fans love including live performances and DJ sets on multiple stages, art installations, food trucks and more. Fans can head to http://emoniteday.com/ to grab tickets now.

BOHNES

Releases New Song

"702"

Tribute To Las Vegas

Available on Spotify and iTunes

Donate to Las Vegas Victims' Fund Here

October 13, 2017 - Las Vegas, NV - Bohnes, the new solo project from Alex DeLeon (The Cab) has released a personal acoustic track entitled "702." This song was previously written and planned for release at a later date, but after tragedy struck his hometown, Bohnes picked up a guitar and created this special acoustic version as his love song to Las Vegas, which is available on Spotify and iTunes. All proceeds from the track will go to the Las Vegas Victims' Fund, which fans can donate directly to here.

Bohnes shared the below message about his hometown and what inspired this "love song."

"Las Vegas isn't about the neon lights. It isn't about the big names on the marquees or the fancy hotels with the chocolates on the pillows. Las Vegas isn't about the nightclubs, the world class chefs and restaurants. It's not about the gambling or the dollar signs. Last week we found out what Las Vegas really is. What it has always been. What it will always be.

Las Vegas is what we saw in the days following the tragedy of Route 91. It is the people standing in line for eight hours to donate blood to the victims of this horrible tragedy. It is people sacrificing their lives to protect and save others during the scariest moment they will ever be apart of. It is the community opening up their hearts, homes, and vehicles to complete strangers to protect them, comfort them, and keep them out of harms way. It is a group of brave first responders and strangers putting on capes and becoming heroes.  Las Vegas is the outpouring of love and support that we have seen from so many people who are doing everything they can to help show that love always wins. That we will always stand together. That we will always pick each other up when we fall down. Las Vegas risks it all not just at the tables.. but for each other. THAT is Las Vegas. That is the city I grew up in. That is the community I am proud to be apart of.

I will never be able to repay Las Vegas for all that it has done for me and given me. But I know I can't just stand here and watch my city suffer. After an emotional few days I decided to pick up a guitar and record my love letter to the city, to the people that fight to protect it, and to the victims and families that have been trying to figure out how to pick up the pieces. I truly hope these words mean as much to you as they do to me. Music is all I know and love and I will say this loud and clear... NO ONE will take music from us. We will not be scared. We will not stop going to concerts. We will not stop singing along. We will never stop spreading love. Every single penny will be going to the victims and the families...but more than that I send them my love and strength.

This one is for you, 702."
