Governor statement on appointment of Senator Al Jackson
SALT LAKE CITY (Nov. 17, 2014) - Gov. Gary R. Herbert issued the following statement regarding Alvin Jackson’s appointment to the Utah State Senate:
“I am pleased to appoint Alvin B. Jackson, Jr. to the Utah State Senate, representing District 14. I have full confidence that his broad business leadership and experience in government relations will benefit the Senate as he crafts legislation to strengthen our economy.
