Cleaning Fruit – Chemical-free and easy!

Fill sink with water, add 1 cup of vinegar, and stir. Add all fruit, and soak for 10 minutes. Water will be dirty, and fruit will sparkle with no wax or dirty film. Great for berries too, as it keeps them from molding. Do this with strawberries, and they will last for weeks.

Kool-aid ice cubes: Freeze Kool-aid in ice cube trays, then drop them in Sprite. The drink changes flavor as they melt.

Some clever ideas:  Chase spiders and mice away with peppermint oil. Put a few drops in a squirt bottle with water, then spray your garage and all door frames.

Straighten hair without heat: Mix a cup of water with 2 tbsp. of brown sugar, pour it into a spray bottle, than spray into damp hair and let it air dry.

Honey lemon facial hair removal: Mix 1 tbs. of honey, ½ tsp. of ground oatmeal and a few drops of fresh lemon juice together. Apply paste like a mask on face. Leave for about 15 minutes then rinse it off. Repeat 2-3 times a week for a month to see results.

Best secrets for super smooth legs: shave, then use olive oil/sugar scrub, shave again. It will get off dead skin you didn’t realize was even there.

Christmas Decorations:  During the winter fill balloons with water and add food coloring, once frozen cut the balloons off & they look like giant marbles or Christmas decorations.

Salt dough: great for decorations for the tree

1 cup of salt

1 cup of flour

½ cup of water.

Mix. This will harden in about 30 minutes.
