THE HOME DEPOT TRANSFORMS VETERAN FACILITY IN OGDEN
Store volunteers partner with United Way of Northern Utah to give back to local veterans
On Wednesday, June 17, Team Depot, The Home Depot’s associate-led volunteer force, will work together with United Way of Northern Utah to transform the Homeless Veterans Fellowship facility. Homeless Veterans Fellowship offers a comprehensive set of services designed to address homelessness among veterans in Utah. The new edible gardens will be sustained by the facility and provide food for years to come.
This effort in Ogden is a part of The Home Depot’s ongoing efforts to improve the homes and lives of U.S. military veterans and their families. In addition to renovating facilities that serve veterans like Homeless Veterans Fellowship, Team Depot has transformed more than 17,000 homes for veterans across the country in the last four years. Giving back to veterans is personal to The Home Depot, as more than 35,000 of the company’s associates have served in the military.
