Agriculture Secretary Perdue to Survey Hurricane Damage in Florida Monday 

Plans to Visit Texas Thursday and Friday

(Washington, D.C., September 15, 2017) – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue will travel to Florida on Monday, September 18, 2017 to survey agricultural damage from Hurricane Irma. The Secretary was invited to make the trip to examine storm damage by Florida Agriculture Commissioner Adam Putnam.  Below are the media availabilities in Florida for MONDAY, September 18, with more information regarding the Texas trip to follow in the coming days.

What: Secretary Perdue will conduct an aerial tour of storm damage, meet with affected producers, and hold a media availability.

Secretary Perdue will be in Texas to inspect damage from Hurricane Harvey at the invitation of Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller on Thursday, September 21st.  On Friday, September 22nd, Perdue will spend much of the day in Texas with Rep. Mike Conaway (TX-11), Chairman of the House Agriculture Committee.

September 15th, 2017 - Emarosa is celebrating the release of a very special EP, 131 Reimagined, out today via Hopeless Records. As an added surprise, the band also released the music video for the reimagined "Helpless," directed by Megan Thompson, which can be seen at http://smarturl.it/HelplessReVideo. The EP, produced by Aaron Marsh (Copeland, This Wild Life, Anberlin), features re-worked versions of four fan-favorite tracks from 131, the album that garnered incredible praise, with press outlets like Substream Magazine saying: "We don't hesitate to proclaim Emarosa is better now than ever before" and Chorus.fm stating that "'131' shatters the mold the band previously sat in and stands out as a modern rock masterpiece that delivers hit after heart-felt hit." On the EP, Bradley Walden shares, "There's therapy in opening old wounds. We wanted to see a different side of the select few & give them a new life."  
 

Emarosa will be bringing these newly released songs and their always incredible live performance to fans later this month with support from A Lot Like Birds and Jule Vera. This month-long headlining tour will kick off in Pittsburgh on September 23rd and hit cities all around the country before wrapping up in Chicago on October 22nd. On the upcoming tour, singer Bradley Walden shares "This is the final tour supporting '131'. We're going to be performing songs we've never done before and taking our live show to places it's never been. If there's a must see performance this Fall, this is it."
