Did you know that 43% of women leave the workforce to raise their children? One local company, Lice Clinics of America (LCA), is doing its part to create a mompreneur environment that allows women to go back to work while also holding the admirable title of Mom.

LCA - the world's largest lice treatment products and services company that provides solutions to easy head lice nightmares - is on a mission to create business opportunities for women to invest in their child's health and also be an involved parent at the same time. In fact, LCA has been led by a female CEO, Claire Roberts, since 2013, who has a corporate leadership team in SLC that is 50% women and 75% of its global clinics are owned by women.

Today, the company continues to allow women to own a local head lice removal clinic and currently women can contribute to LCA's crowdfunding campaign that helps raise money towards product innovation and expansion of the global clinic network.
