Farr West – Northview New Life has sent their youth to Camp Cedaredge. The Youth had a great time there, working with the youth to enrich their experience and faith. Talking with Samuel Markham he said “God did some amazing things and I am so glad that we were able to have a great camp experience! So proud of our kids! We wished to thank all who donated cash, prayed hard, and supported us throughout the last couple months! Your investment in the students of New Life, made a huge difference! Samuel said.
The youth have so many things planned for the summer. Every Tuesday they have an activity ranging from water day in various spots, hiking in Ogden Canyon, Ice Sheet in Ogden, Youth conference coming in August, to backyard BBQ. A great summer planned. Not only do they have a lot planned for the youth the whole congregation has many activities planned men’s breakfast at the Farr West Café, Golf, going with the youth on Thriller Tuesday, swimming, potluck and softball at the Harrisville Park and many more activities. They also have set up movie in the park with Harrisville to show Movie at the Park - Lego Movie Friday, 07/11/2014 at 8:00pm. Again on Friday, 08/22/2014 movie TBA.
Back on May 31 the church members was helping a neighbor church in Roy (Calvary Christian Center) stared at 8:00 am went through the day. Sheetrock, electrical, painting, cleaning etc. helping the recovery of the church from fire.
