Water Conservancy Districts’ Military Giveaway

Kicks Off Memorial Day Weekend.

What:

To kick off Memorial Day weekend, four of Utah’s conservancy districts, in partnership with the Utah Division of Water Resources, will be giving free conservation gifts to any military member who comes to one of the participating conservancy districts this Friday. So come in, show your military ID or proof of service and receive a conservation gift!

The first 15 people at each participating district will receive a Water-Wise hose nozzle (to water brown spots instead of running the sprinklers) as part of their gift. Other gift items include soil moisture meters (which will test high levels of moisture with all of the rain we’ve had #Wait2Water), Slow the Flow water bottles and 8 to 8 (nighttime watering only reminder) bags while supplies last.

We encourage participants to take advantage of their time to stroll through the conservation gardens and learn about how those who serve and served can also conserve. Thank you for your service!
