Hatch Participates in White House Tech Summit
Washington, D.C.—Today, Senator Orrin Hatch (R-Utah), the Chairman of the Senate Republican High-Tech Task Force, traveled to the White House to join President Trump and CEOs—including Apple’s Tim Cook, Microsoft’s Satya Nadella, and Amazon’s Jeff Bezos—to discuss tech and innovation issues and efforts to modernize government services.
Among other topics, the meeting addressed high-skilled immigration reform, an issue that Senator Hatch has long championed in Congress (See: Hatch in the Mercury News: I can be a bridge for H-1B Visa Reforms)
