Weber High School Boys Varsity Basketball beat Box Elder High School 83-69

Weber came out hot and scored 27 points in the first quarter and 45 at halftime. Hunter Howe has the hot hand in the first half scoring 20 of his 30 points with 13 coming in the first quarter. Connor Shaw followed up with 22 points and Gage Johnson had 17 in the win. As a team Weber hit 11 three pointers for the game.

Weber High School Girls Varsity Basketball falls to Box Elder High School 58-47

The Lady Bees from Box Elder made 13-19 free throws in the fourth quarter to defeat the Lady Warriors 58-47. The Warriors were led by Kestin Cable’s 15 points and 4 steals. Megan Smoot scored 15 and Taylor Rumsey added 10 points for the Warriors. Bridget Triplett controlled the boards with 9 rebounds. Next up, the Lady Warriors travel to Logan High School to take on the Grizzlies this Tuesday December 20th. Tip-off is scheduled for 5:15.
