JD Machine, a local manufacturer, has significantly expanded their manufacturing facility from 44,000 square feet to 70,000 square feet to better support their customers. They provide precision machined components to a variety of industries, including medical device, aerospace, mining, defense and communications.
Matt Wardle, President and CEO, said: “Our vision for JD Machine is to not only be a world-class manufacturer, but also a world-class employer. We continue to grow the business to provide opportunities for advancement to our team members.”
The namesake for JD Machine is its founder, J. Don Wardle. He established JD Machine in 1979, his son Matt took over in 1992. Don is 89 years old and continues to work every day. Matt has grown the company from a team of 12, to a team of nearly 200, including his own children.
