The Wahlquist padded football camp registration is ongoing and will continue through this week. Our camp is a padded full contact camp including the following: 21 hours of position instruction in offense, defense, special teams, fundamentals and insertions of Wahlquist offensive and defensive football. We will have 7 on 7 and big man competitions Wednesday June 22nd at Sandridge Junior High against the other junior high schools in the district. Thursday we will have a team night at the North Shore pool in North Ogden. Friday June 24th there will be a padded scrimmage hosted by Wahlquist at 9am. We will have meals provided each of the padded days (June 20-24). This will be a very positive experience for your incoming 8th or 9th grade student. Incoming 7th graders are also invited to register.
Attached is our registration form. Please pay the office $90 and turn in your completed registration form at that time, or you can hand it in to Coach Blanch. We will begin helmets only workouts Wednesday June 15th-June 17th 8-10 am. Anyone interested can continue to register through Monday June 20th. Your athlete will be issued a set of Wahlquist equipment to be returned after camp.

Also, there is an opportunity to help Wahlquist football by getting the word out on our team fundraiser. We will be hosting a youth 7 on 7 tournament Aug 6 at Wahlquist for recreation age youth football teams. Team divisions are as follows and are based upon student grade level for the 2016-17 school year: 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th grade teams. The cost per team is $250. The tournament will take place the weekend before the WFFL Jamboree, so this is a great opportunity to get some extra reps with the youth teams prior to the season starting.
