SANDY, UTAH, UNITED STATES, November 21, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Salt Lake City, UT – GlobalSim, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has recently contracted with the United States Army Reserve Command (USARC) to provide multiple training simulators to be delivered in the first half of 2018.

“Military projects such as this are a big component of our business – it’s what we do best” remarks Jonathan McCurdy, CEO and President of GlobalSim. “We’ve been planning this USARC project for some time – our team is excited and ready to build these simulators. They’ll undoubtedly be a great training tool for the US Army Reserve Command.”

GlobalSim will deliver JLG Atlas II telehandler forklift simulators and Kalmar RT240 rough terrain container handler simulators. These units will be constructed at the company headquarters in Salt Lake City and will be delivered to multiple army training sites in the continental United States.

The simulators will each include operator controls from the original equipment manufacturers, large flat panel displays, motion systems, and full instructor stations for interactive training. GlobalSim’s popular scenario editor and student database will be included as well.

They will be joining the six week long run beginning on January 19th in Tucson, replacing their previously announced "American Vacation" Tour. Vocalist Ryan Locke shares: "We are going to be postponing our headlining tour to later in the year. Instead we will be joining Neck Deep on their upcoming winter headliner. Can't wait see everyone this winter!"

 

Formed in 2011, SEAWAY is Ryan Locke (vocals), Patrick Carleton (guitar, vocals), Ken Taylor (drums), Adam Shoji (bass), and Andrew Eichinger (guitar). The band has become known for their highly infectious brand of pop punk - one that strikes the perfect balance between the two styles and recalls a time when the genre centered on having fun.

The Pentagon has paid for an infantry soldier to undergo gender transition surgery after a federal judge blocked President Trump's ban on transgender service members last month. The soldier, who identifies as a woman, became the first active-duty service member to receive such an operation paid for by the Defense Department when she went under the knife.

The U.S. Army had to pay to get a high-ranking transgender Pentagon official to appear at its military academy on Transgender Day of Remembrance. The event, held at West Point, was organized by the Army’s Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Equal Opportunity, to “promote an environment of compassion and understanding.”

Thousands of taxpayer dollars are annually spent on hormone treatments, laser hair removal and makeup for “transgender” prison inmates and now one convicted murderer is suing the Massachusetts Department of Corrections to pay for an expensive sex-change surgery, claiming that he is a woman trapped in a man’s body. The surgery is estimated to cost between $10,000 and $20,000 and the inmate, convicted in 1993 of murdering his wife, claims that his gender-identity disorder is a serious illness that can lead to severe anxiety, depression, suicide attempts and self-castration.

Army Ordered to Pay Damages for Discrimination; Trans Man Kept from Women’s Bathroom

The Obama administration has ordered the U.S. Army to pay damages for discriminating against a transgender worker by denying the one-time man access to the women’s bathroom after he “transitioned” to female, thus changing his “gender identity.” Additionally, the administration has determined that the Army also discriminated against the employee by failing to use his new female name (Tamara Lusardi) and instead continuing to use the name the man was originally hired under.
