Farr West 8th Ward had a great time on Bear Lake’s North Shore with an Ultimate Frisbee contest with Farr West 7th Ward. The groups were on a trip at Bear Lake Sands, Idaho, on August 7.  Mark Berger posted a great picture (posted on Sentinel News website).

On July 29, the Beehive's were learning how to milk cows at the Chugg farm. The picture is of Wendy Berger with Tyler Dixon.

July 11, Scout camp was great! The boys had fun and they all came back without any injuries. All of the leaders were thankful to be back; the boys, too. Several of the boys and the leaders did the Polar Plunge. This meant getting into a 38 degree pond at 6 in the morning and reciting the Scout Oath and the Scout Law.  It was FREEZING! Many thanks to Mark Berger and Bishop Hansen for coming and roughing it with us for a little bit. Thanks to Greg Price for his dedication and help as well. We have the best Young Men ever!

Farr West 7th Ward’s Cub Scouts took an outing on August 10 to a duck pond and to Scout camp (Wolves & Bears).

On August 5, the girls went to the North Shore Swimming center for their youth activity. Even with the wind blowing, it didn’t stop these girls from enjoying what small amount of time is left of summer.

Stephanie McRae wanted to let everyone know that the barbeque at the Cold Springs Trout Farm on July 31 was great and everyone had a wonderful time. Thanks to all those that helped.

New Life Northview Church—On August 4, put on a sports camp at Harrisville Park. Great first day at the Sports Camp! (see pictures on line).

On July 25, a group from New Life Northview drove to minister in San Francisco. Along with mistering to the people on the streets, they stopped and had work parties to help people in need. Jedidiah Daily said, “We had an amazing time walking the streets of San Francisco ministering to homeless people late last night. Today, we will be cleaning up an area of Pastor Noah's neighborhood and then after lunch we are tackling the difficult task of relaxing on the beach.”

He stated on July 28, “We've had an awesome day so far. Hiked Mount Davidson this morning and prayed over the City. Then we stopped by Blue Bottle for the #1 ranked coffee in San Francisco. After lunch we served at the Pregnancy Outreach Center. Please keep us in your prayers this evening. We will be going out with the San Francisco night ministry and won't be getting home until after 2am.”
