West Liberty Foods Purchases Quantum Foods Assets
West Liberty, Iowa (June 23rd, 2014)—West Liberty Foods, L.L.C. announced today that it has
closed on the purchase of substantially all of the assets of Bolingbrook, Illinois-based Quantum
Foods.
West Liberty Foods expects to start up meat processing operations at the Bolingbrook location
within the next thirty days.

West Liberty Foods. “This acquisition will enhance our offerings and benefit our customers,
employees, and owners. In addition, we will be able to bring back jobs lost when Quantum Foods
shut down its business.”
West Liberty Foods has three manufacturing locations in West Liberty, Iowa, Mount Pleasant,
Iowa and Tremonton, Utah. The company is headquartered in West Liberty, Iowa.
