Cherry Days start June 20th - July 4th, 2016. Starts with Cherry Days Medallion Search. One week before Cherry Days, North Ogden City will be having a Treasure Hunt for our 4″ round Cherry Days Medallion. It will be hidden somewhere in the North Ogden City limits.

Saturday June 25, 2016 there is a Skate Park Challenge. North Ogden’s Skate Challenge will be held on Saturday June 25th, 2016 from 10:00am - 1:00pm.   Don’t miss your chance to show off your skills. 

Monday June 27th, 2016 Cherry Days Golf Tournament. Come be a part of a Great Cherry Days Tradition.  The Barn Golf Course has been hosting the Cherry Days Golf Tournament for over 20 years.  The tournament will be a four person scramble format and will be held at the Barn Golf Club.  

 Friday July 1st, 2016 a Grand Marshal Dinner. The dinner will be held that evening at 6:00PM at the North View Senior Center (485 E 2550 N). 

 Saturday July 2nd, 2016 the Jr. Posse Rodeo. Come join us for the Ron Brown Memorial Cherry Days Rodeo at the North Ogden Equestrian Park (2675 N Mountain Road). 

Miss North Ogden Pageant, young women throughout the city will compete for the title of Miss North Ogden on Saturday, July 2nd, 2016 at 7:00pm at the Weber High School Auditorium. 

Monday, July 4th, 2016:

6:00am - 4:00pm Road Closed at 550 E between 2750 N and 2650 N.        

6:30am - 7:00am   Sunrise Flag Ceremony North Ogden Park (2705 N 550 E) Join us at 6:30am as the sun comes up over the mountain for our Sunrise Patriotic Ceremony at North Ogden Park.  This is a wonderful way to start your 4th of July.

7:00am - 10:00am Kiwanis Breakfast North Ogden Park (2705 N 550 E) The Annual Kiwanis Cherry Days Breakfast will be held from 7:00am to 10:00am at the West Bowery at North Ogden Park (closest to the tennis courts).  Come start your morning with delicious ham, eggs, hash browns, hotcakes and assorted beverages.

9:00am Washington Blvd Closed For Parades

9:30am Children's Parade Washington Boulevard, calling all children to join us for the Children’s Parade prior to the official Cherry Days Parade.  We encourage you to bring your decorated tricycles, bicycles, wagons, razor scooters, etc. for our Cherry Days Celebration.  NO MOTORIZED VEHICLES (power wheels, 3 or 4 wheelers, motorized scooters, etc.) will be allowed.  Children should assemble on the West side of Washington Blvd., just south of 2600 North before 9:30am. 

10:00am Cherry Days Parade Washington Boulevard, you are invited to participate in the annual Cherry Days Parade on July 4th.  The parade will begin at 10:00 AM at 2850 North and 400 East and proceed south along Washington Blvd. to 1900 north.   The parade is attended by thousands of people who come to enjoy the festival in the park, visit the booths and attend the parade.

10:00am - 2:00pm Kiwanis Car Show 550 E. The 2016 Kiwanis Car Show will be located next to North Ogden Park (2705 N 550 E).  Registration will be from 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. with a Show and Shine.

11:00am - 3:00pm Festival in the Park North Ogden Park (2705 N 550 E)

11:30pm Magic Show North Ogden Park (2705 N 550 E) Abracadabra!  Come one, come all and be amazed at the North Ogden Cherry Days Magic Show.  Theron Milo, the Rocky Mountain Wizard will be providing a funny, clean, family-friendly magical comedy performed right here in North Ogden Park.

12:00pm -1:30pm Live Trout Pond/Fish Catch North Ogden Park (2705 N 550 E) 

12:00pm - 4:30pm Volleyball Tournament Oaklawn Park (1200 E 2500 N) Tournament put on by the WEBER HIGH MEN'S VOLLEYBALL TEAM.

1:30pm-2:30pm Hypnotist Show North Ogden Park (2705 N 550 E) Prepare to be amazed as Blake Powers, master hypnotist, delivers a fascinating show.  With over a decade of professional experience, he provides a powerful show that you will never forget.  Blake has traveled the nation with his comedy hypnosis shows, enjoying the comedy and laughter right along with his audiences. 

8:00pm Evening Concert Barker Park (2375 N Fruitland Drive) Exit 349 is very happy to be back at Cherry Days this year.  We hope you will enjoy our mix of family-friendly classic rock and roll tunes that span the decades.  Our vocal harmonies are superbly sung by Shawnee Hansen and LeeAnn Russell, with Tony Spencer and Gary Griffeth carrying the men’s parts.  They also play keyboard and electric bass respectively.  Brian Russell is the rhythm guitarist and Kevin Duersch is the heartbeat of the band on the drums.  We all live in or near North Ogden, so it is especially gratifying to play in front of our hometown crowd.  Bring your toe-tapping shoes and enjoy the evening with us.

10:00pm Fireworks Spectacular Barker Park (2375 N Fruitland Drive) Fireworks West will provide a better than ever spectacular fireworks extravaganza with patriotic music.  You will not be disappointed!!  Tune in to 92.1 FM to hear the music from any park in North Ogden.

I-15: Box Elder Project Corridor Activities

     •Day and nighttime construction activities are expected in all areas

     • Speed limit: 65 MPH along the construction corridor

     • Clear, grub, excavation, backfill, barrier, storm drain activities

     • Fencing, sign relocation, paint and tape removal 

     • Asphalt and concrete paving 

     • Bridge and utility work continue along the construction corridor

     • Intermittent, nighttime, single lane configuration

I-15: Farr West – Brigham Single Lane Closures: Bridge and Paving Activities

Crews have begun paint and tape removal with concrete paving continuing along the construction corridor through fall 2016.

     • Intermittent, nightly, single lane configurations in 3 mile segments

     • North and southbound

     • Sunday - Saturday

I-15: Bridge Work Continues 

 Bridge work continues along the I-15 Box Elder corridor with day and nighttime activities expected to take place in all areas. Motorists and residents may experience an increase in noise, light, dust, vibration, construction personnel, vehicles and machinery in the area.

 Wide Load Restrictions

 Trucks with loads wider than 11' are required to have an escort while driving through the construction corridor (2700 North in Farr West to 1100 South in Brigham City).

Construction schedules are subject to change due to weather, equipment or material delays.

Safety Reminder: For your safety and the safety of those working in the area, please exercise caution, stay alert and be prepared for changing lane configurations throughout the construction corridor.
