UTAH SENATE REQUESTS PUBLIC COMMENT ON JUDICIAL NOMINEE
SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah Senate Judicial Confirmation Committee seeks public comment on Mr. Joseph M. Bean who was appointed to fill a vacancy on the Second District Court bench. The Second District Court includes Davis, Morgan and Weber counties.
Those who desire to comment should contact Mike Christensen at the Office of Legislative Research and General Counsel, Utah State Capitol Campus, House Building, Suite W210, PO Box 145210, Salt Lake City, Utah 84114-5210, by 5 p.m. on Monday, April 7, 2014. All statements should include the respondent's name, telephone number, and mailing address.
The Senate Judicial Confirmation Committee will hold a public hearing on April 9, 2014 at noon and issue a recommendation to the full senate.
Ms. Bean was appointed to replace Judge Michael Lyon, who retired September 1, 2013.
