ADVISORY: Secretary Perdue in South Carolina SATURDAY

(Washington, D.C., January 25, 2018) – U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue will be in Columbia, South Carolina on Saturday, January 27th to tour farms and meet with agricultural producers and community leaders.

Secretary Perdue to Visit City Roots Farm

WHAT: Secretary Perdue and South Carolina Agriculture Commissioner Hugh Weathers will tour City Roots Farm and participate in a roundtable discussion about the farm bill, specialty crops, organics, and horticulture. Secretary Perdue will hold media availability after the event.

Secretary Perdue to Visit Manchester Farms

WHAT: Secretary Perdue, Governor Henry McMaster and Commissioner Weathers will tour Manchester Farms Processing Facility and Hatchery and hold a luncheon discussion with local farmers and producers. Secretary Perdue will hold media availability after the event.
