Farr West April News

Farr West City is conducting a Donor Brick Fundraising Campaign at Smiths Family Park with a park donor and veterans recognition area constructed of engraved bricks and a flag pole. This campaign is to recognize those who have contributed to the building of the park as well as veterans past and present who served to protect our ability and freedom to enjoy such a park.  Add your name to the park! With a choice of brick size and a donation, everyone can join in having a brick in the new park. All proceeds will be used for the Smith Family Park. The bricks will be used to create a Donor and Veterans Recognition Plaza. (Multiple families can go together on one brick) If you are interested in helping go to http://www.farrwestcity.net/smith-family-park.html

As an ongoing reminder with good weather upon us, we need to beware of things going on around us. With good weather comes more children and people out walking, biking and, in general, having fun. We need to watch for the unexpected and watch our speeds. We have more motorcycles on the road and outdoor enthusiasts, please watch and share the road way. We have more traffic trying to avoid the freeway delays we need to put the cell phones down, keeping in mind everyone needs to make it home safe.
