Beautification Program Underway! Starting this month, you are going to see some exciting changes in our downtown area and in our commercial areas along Washington Boulevard and 2700 North. Our Economic Development Committee has been working hard on developing a beautification program that will bring custom benches, decorative trash cans, flower pots, vinyl wraps on utility boxes, and new bus stops in cooperation with UTA. We are also working on future plans for a new “Welcome to North Ogden” sign and decorative street lights. This program is being funded with economic development funds, not residential taxes—and will help create something unique and special for our North Ogden commercial area. See more details at:  http://www.northogdencity.com/government/councils‐commissions/economic‐development‐committee‐337.

With the warming weather come the yard sales. It is a violation of North Ogden City Code to put yard sale signs on street lights, posts, street signs and in the curb strip. If you do put up signs, there is a good chance they will be taken down. If they are not taken down, please clean them up after your yard sale is over. Citations will be issued for yard sale signs cleaned up by the code enforcement officer.

Weber Mosquito Abatement will begin mosquito treatment in April with larvicide pellets and then in May they will begin adulticide treatments.
