Pleasant View has a newly rebuilt website.  The hope is that it’ll be much easier to navigate now. The City had this brought to their attention, and as they were looking at it, they decided it was easier to start from the ground floor and rebuild it to make it more user-friendly.

They are in the process of better organizing the City’s publications and forms so you can find them in one place. This page will be updated as they release enhanced designs. In the meantime, they are happy to consider your suggestions. How can they better organize this page? Your insights might inform future design and content improvements to the site.   Please see:  http://pleasantviewcity.com/blog/ to make comments.

On the recreation side of things, group Learn-to-Play Pickleball classes are available Wednesday nights. Reservations are in one-hour blocks of time starting at 7pm. There is a cost of $20 per hour for residents and $24 per hour for non-residents. You need to register online no later than midnight the Sunday before you would like to play.  Scheduling dates are from 03/20/2017-10/31/2017.

Youth team boys’ baseball registration will be wrapping up on March 31st. New this year, they will be combining grades 3rd-4th (will be kid pitch), 5th-6th grade and 7th-9th grade. The plan is to have this year’s games be at all one location.  Of course, this may change due to the numbers. Teams will be created with the Mutual Buddy Request system. One friend for one friend ONLY (ex. Tim requests Jack and Jack requests Tim), There is always a need for coaches and all coaches must pass a background check before becoming a coach. There will be no late registration due to league starting earlier.

Boys’ baseball game play dates are: 05/01/2017-06/09/2017

Girls’ Youth Softball are also coming to an end on March 31st. (NO late registration due to league starting earlier). The girls will also be combining grades 3rd-4th (will be kid pitch), 5th-6th grade and 7th-9th grade with the games being played at one location. Teams will be created with the Mutual Buddy Request system. One friend for one friend ONLY (ex. Jill requests Anne and Anne requests Jill)
