Bishop Announces ‘Mountain Accord’ Hearing

WASHINGTON – Rep. Rob Bishop (UT-01) released the following statement regarding H.R. 5718, the Central Wasatch National Conservation and Recreation Area Act:

“The ‘Mountain Accord’ legislation is part of a locally-driven process that guarantees access for future recreation activities. As chairman of the House Committee on Natural Resources, I typically refrain from cosponsoring legislation referred to my committee, nevertheless I look forward to holding a hearing on November 15th that will move this bill forward through regular order.”
