Governor Gary R. Herbert issued the following statement on the passing of Dennis Nordfelt:
“Dennis Nordfelt was an outstanding man and a good friend. Whether it was as a public safety official, mayor of West Valley City, a leader in his church or as a father, he was always working to make life better for the people in his community. He will be missed.
A search for his successor at DABC is underway."
