A strong, stingy Silverwolf defense held Cyprus scoreless for three full quarters and a chunk of the fourth, in an opening-round 6A playoff matchup, while quarterback Mitch Stratford found wideout Calvin Peterson over and over and over… and over, for four touchdowns on the night, plus another touchdown pass to Chaedon Dayton, as Fremont High outpaced the Pirates 35-14. The win earns Fremont a chance to avenge a Week 2 loss to Pleasant Grove.
